Description

The oil filler cap is CNC-machined from a solid block of aluminum alloy, offering a solid and substantial feel. It is paired with a custom-molded, high-quality gasket that provides excellent sealing and durability.


Custom-Made Gasket


The gasket used for the oil filler cap is made of fluoroelastomer (FPM). This material is widely used due to its excellent resistance to heat, oil, solvents, and chemicals. Fluoroelastomers are well known under the trade names Teflon and Viton®. In terms of heat resistance, oil resistance, weather resistance, and chemical resistance, FPM is considered one of the best rubber materials available, making it the ideal choice for oil filler cap gaskets.

Durability: Remains stable even in high-temperature environments (210–230 °C or higher), without hardening or cracking easily.

Excellent chemical resistance: Provides outstanding resistance to mineral oils, fuels, solvents, and acids/alkalis, giving it a much longer lifespan under harsh conditions compared to general rubbers (such as NBR or EPDM).

Fatigue Resistance: Lower than that of general rubbers at high temperatures, meaning that gaskets and seals can maintain elasticity even after prolonged compression, reducing the risk of oil leakage or loosening.
